Derby expecting fireworks against Forest

The FA Cup has certainly thrown up an interesting tie for us tonight – my old club Nottingham Forest. The East Midlands derby has always been a massive game but it´s been a bit of a soap opera round here of late which will add to the hype of the game. Both sides have had managers leave recently and now Billy Davies, who did so much at Derby, has taken over at Forest.

The lads who played under Billy here have a lot of good things to say about him but I´m sure they´ll want to show him what good players they are by knocking Forest out of the Cup. To be honest, everyone´s still talking about the last time the two sides met in the Championship earlier this season and ´the goal that never was´ for us. We´ll be looking to set that straight in the Cup as we definitely feel we should have won the league game.

I´m sure I´ll get more abuse after my move from Forest but I´ve had it before and I´m sure I´ll have it again in my career. It´s water off a duck´s back now and I´ll just be concentrating on winning the game for Derby.
